I believe that Health is the greatest possession we have. In running my life with this belief, I am happier, stronger and more confident. Fitness and Nutrition are at the heart of everything else. I am a Mother, Wife, Teacher, Friend and.....I am a VEGAN RUNNER.

 

My initiatives at the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board and across the world have taught me that 21st Century learning is about modelling and using the most current tools, understanding how to access and moderate information, resources and technologies – and particularly using networking and collaboration to grow ourselves.

To understand <and change> the world around us we need to first look within and understand ourselves.

My passion and advocacy for the arts and technology in education give me strength and have made it effortless to differentiate instruction, embrace UDL in teaching and learning - and use innovative teaching methods to engage all my learners to be active citizens - and be the best they can be!​

~ As learners ourselves, we need to leverage the power of technology to extend the scope of our influence beyond the confines of our communities, homes, schools and districts. With a global perspective, we can begin to truly understand the world around us, recognize social justice and know when to stand up for ourselves and others.
